Born May 24, 1923 in Stonycreek Twp., the daughter of James S. and Carrie P. (Darr) Glessner. Preceded in death by parents and husband Norman L. Harvey. Survived by the following children: Norman L. Jr. "Buck" and wife Judy, Somerset, John and wife Sandy, Friedens, Donald, Somerset, Mary Lee and husband Randy Wirick, Belleville, Mich., and David and wife Valerie, Connellsville; grandsons Adam Wirick and Andy Harvey; step-grandchildren Doug Shaulis and Terri Marsteller; and step-great-grandson Drew Hay. Sister of Ethel, married to Robert Stahl, Hermitage, Gladys, widow of Frank Lowry, Shanksville, Owen Glessner and wife Mary Ellen, Friedens, Betty, married to Jack Brant, Berlin, and James Glessner and wife Virginia, Stoystown. She was a member of Somerset Church of the Brethren and was employed for nine years by the Pa. Department of Highways. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Pastor Roger Forry officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Church of the Brethren Building Fund at 303 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
