He was found dead in bed when members of the family went to his room Monday evening. Coronary occlusion was the cause of death. Mr. Haselbarth was born Oct. 30, 1863, the son of Charles and Lydia Dively Haselbarth. His wife, Mary Elizabeth Handwerk, preceded him in death in 1938. He is survived by two daughters, Freda, wife of Roy Housel, Somerset, and Violet, wife of Leonard Truitt, Baltimore, and by two sons, Ralph and Edward, both living in Salisbury. Surviving also is a sister, Mrs. Harriet Kretchman and one brother, George Haselbarth, of Salisbury. Services were held on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., in the Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, by his pastor, Rev. S. D. Sigler. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, February 17, 1944
