Rev. B. M. Rollins, pastor of the Church of the Brethren in Keyser, W.Va., and Rev. W. J. Hamilton, pastor of the Living Stone Church of the Brethren in Cumberland, to which Mr. Hasselroth belonged, officiated. Interment was made in Cook cemetery at Wellersburg. Pvt. Robert Hasselroth, stationed at Denver, Colo., was notified of his father's death and attended the funeral. Meyersdale Republican, June 29, 1944 --- WESLEY HASSELROTH Wesley Hasselroth, 71, died June 25, at his home near Wellersburg. He was a farmer at the time of his death. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Katie Bowman Hasselroth, whom he married in 1900. He also left the following children: Raymond, Marling, Theodore, Betty, Mrs. Fred Sherman and Mrs. Virgil Lowery, all of Hyndman; Mrs. James Porter and Clyde Hasselroth, of Ellerslie, Md., and Pvt. Robert Hasselroth, stationed at Denver, Colorado, who attended the funeral. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Wilmoth of Meyersdale, Mrs. Ida Sturtz of Akron, O., and Mrs. W. O. Houch of Kingwood, W.Va. Five grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at the family home, Wednesday, June 28, at 2:30 p.m., Rev. B. M. Rollins and Rev. W. J. Hamilton, pastors of the Livingstone Church of the Brethren, officiated. Interment was in the Cook Cemetery, near Wellersburg. Meyersdale Republican, July 6, 1944
