  HAUGER
  
  Charles (Pete) Hauger, 80, Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, died Jan. 7, 1983,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 28, 1902, in Meyersdale, a son of
  the late Charles J. and Minerva (Walker) Hauger.  Preceded in death by wife,
  Pauline (Bender) Hauger, in 1973; also by two sisters.  Survived by one
  sister, Mrs. Helen Schramm, Somerset RD 5; and a number of nieces and
  nephews.  Member of the Church of Visitation, Johnstown.  He retired from
  U.S. Merchant Marine.  Friends received after 5 p.m. Sunday in the Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home, where rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.  Funeral
  mass Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset, with
  the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli.  Interment, Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
