Hauger, 79, of Berlin RD 3, died March 6, 1983, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. She was born March 23, 1903, in Berlin, a daughter of H. Franklin and Sadie (Shaver) Ball. She was preceded in death by her parents and son. She is survived by her husband, Jay M. She was a sister of: Mrs. Marie Dively, Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown; Evelyn Ball, Pittsburgh; Vera Ball, Berlin; Mrs. Crawford (Eleanor) Miley, Chambersburg; Mrs. Gertrude Will, Fort Collins, Colo.; and Richard Ball, Sun City, Ariz. She was a graduate of California State Teachers College and attended Columbia University in New York. She taught elementary school in Somerset for 20 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the L.C.W., and she taught in the primary department of the church for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club and the Pius Spring Woman's Club. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Kenneth S.
