  Elmer G. "Jim," and "Hook," Hause Sr., 80, Stoystown RD 2, (Wilbur), died
  Aug. 28, 1985, in Mercy Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 18, 1905, in
  Somerset County, son of late John and Anna (Barnhart) Hause.  Preceded in
  death by wife, former Wilma Baker, a son, step-son, two grand-children and
  four brothers.  Survived by these children: Ernest Phillippi Sr.,
  Hollsopple; Mrs. Richard (Geraldine) Cottle, Jefferson, Ohio; Mrs. Agnes
  Hause, Hooversville RD 1; John Phillippi Sr., Stoystown RD 2; Elmer Hause
  Jr., Bedford; Mrs. Raymond (Ida) Smith, and Barry Hause, both of Stoystown
  RD 3; and Mrs. Fred (Phyllis) Walters, Northampton; also 28 grandchildren;
  32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.  Brother of
  William, Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Meredith (Margaret) Berkebile, Somerset; Mrs.
  James (Dorothy) Buchanan, Bristol; and Morris, West Newton.  Retired coal
  miner.  Member of UMWA.  Family received friends Thursday and will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Harold E. Andrus. 
  Interment, Otterbein Cemetery.
