    Viola Ellen Hause, 75, of Somerset, formerly of Reading Mines, died April
  18, 1997, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born July 22, 1921, in Sand
  Patch.  Daughter of Frank and Agnes (Keefer) Kemp.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Kenneth "Joe," three brothers and two sisters.  Survived
  by these children: Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Lape, Mrs. Elwood (Nancy) Clevenger,
  David, married to the former Jean Hilliard, and George, all of Somerset;
  Kenneth and Ernest, married to the former Patricia McKenzie, both of
  Meyersdale; Robert, married to the former Nan Martin, and Jeffrey, married
  to the former Donna (Holbert), both of Newport, Tenn.; Mrs. Thomas (Alice)
  Saunders of Friedens; Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Leasock of Boswell; Larry, Leroy,
  married to the former Donna Knopsnyder, Laura and Harold, married to the
  former Karen Engle, all of Stoystown; Caroline of Confluence; 29
  grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Betty McCarthy and Ernest
  Kemp, both of Johnstown; Mary Hause of Friedens; Charles Kemp of Pittsburgh;
  Ida Mae Herschberger, Florida.  Member of Reading Grace Brethren Church. 
  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Monday with Rev. Larry R. Weigle officiating.  Interment P.O.S. of A.
  Cemetery, Hooversville.  Memorial contributions may be given to Reading
  Grace Brethren Church, Stoystown Road, Stoystown, Pa. 15563.
