  Mrs. Hugh E. Hawkins
  
    Ann E. Hawkins, 73, of 43 Richard St., Dover, N.J., formerly of
  Brownsville, died Dec. 25, 1973 at her home.  Born Dec. 22, 1900, in West
  Brownsville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Bates)
  Edwards.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. Hawkins Sr., in
  1971.
    She attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church in West Brownsville.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anthony D'Amico, Dover, N.J.; a son, Hugh
  E. Hawkins, Jr., Uniontown; two grandchildren; and a brother, George
  Edwards, West Brownsville.
    Funeral service was held Dec. 29 in Homer L. Crawford Funeral Home,
  Brownsville, with Rev. Carl Hughes officiating.  Interment in Redstone
  Cemetery.
