She was born on Dec. 12, 1923, in Rockwood, a daughter of Lloyd C. and Rebecca (Schultz) Younkin. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lloyd. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Karl H. Hay; children, David, Fairhope; and Becky (Chet) Fiedor, Berlin; grandchildren, Benjamin and Elizabeth Hay. Also survived by a sister, Mary E. Hall, Ulysses; special nephews, William H. Hall II and family; and Jerry C. Hall and family; and her special friend, Lois Boburchock. Anna was a member of Berlin Brethren Church where she sang in the choir and was part of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was a former volunteer for 27 years at the Somerset Hospital Snack Bar, a member of RSVP, the Berlin Fire and Legion Auxiliaries and a 50-year member of the OES, Chapter 138, Somerset. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Gene Oburn officiating. Interment Berlin IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Berlin Brethren Church Music Ministry or "In Touch" Hospice, 225 S. Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
