Born Nov. 7, 1916, in Black Township, (Wilson Creek), son of late Jacob J. and Laura (Marteeny) Hay. Preceded in death by these brothers and sisters; Alverda, Hazel, Minnie, Mazie, Cora, Ethel, Obie, Gene, Orlo, Guy, and Palmer, and step-son, John. Survived by these step-children; Martha Brant, Norma Tipton, Mary Dunmeyer, and Dorothy; and these sisters and brother; Jemima Yoder, Stoystown Rd 3; Mrs. Earl Hoover, Garrett; Helen Hamilton, Mt. Jackson, Va.; and Harry Meyers, Somerset. Veteran of World War II. Member of Loyal Order of Moose, Somerset Lodge No. 973. Friends received after 7 p.m. Monday (today) and from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Charles J.
