  Emery Jay Hay, 68, Friedens RD 2, died Feb. 23, 1985, in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Nov. 7, 1916, in Black Township, (Wilson Creek), son of late
  Jacob J. and Laura (Marteeny) Hay.  Preceded in death by these brothers and
  sisters; Alverda, Hazel, Minnie, Mazie, Cora, Ethel, Obie, Gene, Orlo, Guy,
  and Palmer, and step-son, John.  Survived by these step-children; Martha
  Brant, Norma Tipton, Mary Dunmeyer, and Dorothy; and these sisters and
  brother; Jemima Yoder, Stoystown Rd 3; Mrs. Earl Hoover, Garrett; Helen
  Hamilton, Mt. Jackson, Va.; and Harry Meyers, Somerset.  Veteran of World
  War II.  Member of Loyal Order of Moose, Somerset Lodge No. 973.  Friends
  received after 7 p.m. Monday (today) and from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10:30
  a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Charles J. Hartbauer.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
