Hay, 97, of Somerset, went to be with her Lord, Aug. 14, 2002, at her residence. Born June 18, 1905 in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late William Dewey and Ariminta (Grimes) Mort. Also preceded in death by her husband, Orlo M. Hay Sr., children: Dorothy Auriemma, Rev. William N. Hay, Orlo Hay Jr. and Jay David Hay. Brothers: Dewey, Harvey, Ross, John, Herion. Sisters: Maggie, Grace, Mary and Annie. Grandchildren, Robert and Ralph Auriemma, Patty Setinsky and Linda. Great-grandchildren: Richard Wollard and Cody Hay. Great-great-granddaughter Allison Hay. Survived by children: Mrs. Robert (Mary) Schlag of South Carolina, John of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Tony (Betty) Setinsky of N. Lima, Ohio, Robert Hay of Somerset, Richard Hay of Berlin, James Hay and Ralph Hay both of Rockwood and Charles Hay of Berlin. Also 48 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Member of Rayman-Church of the Brethren. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Rayman Church of the Brethren with Rev. Charles Mahon Jr. and Rev. Charles Hay officiating. Interment in Beachdale Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice 1590 N. Center Ave. Somerset, Pa. 15501. There will be viewing at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
