Born Jan. 17, 1905, in Milford Township, the daughter of the late Morris W. and Cora (Hemminger) Speicher. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James O. Hay; son, James B. Hay; an infant daughter; sisters, Mary Sanner, Leora Menhorn, Blanche Crytzer and Gladys Burns; and brothers, Clyde, George and James Speicher. Survived by her children, Dean, married to Agnes (Svonavec) Hay, Rockwood, Morris, married to Marcella (Powell) Hay, Salisbury, N.C., Lillian, married to Ray Kaufman, Chambersburg, and Rose Marie, married to Harold Keichel, Kirtland, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and brother, R. Dale Speicher, Meyersdale. She was a member of the Trinity Reform Church in Rockwood. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mark Bender officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
