J. NEVIN HAY

  J. Nevin Hay, 72, Berlin RD 2, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, at his home, after an 
illness of several weeks duration.  He was born November 19, 1876, in 
Brothersvalley Township, the eldest son of the late Simon and Sarah Suder Hay.
  Mr. Hay was a leading farmer ?????? Reformed Church.
  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith Engle Hay, and the following children: 
Mrs. Margaret Walker of Punta Gorda, Fla.; Mrs. Ernest Miller, Meyersdale RD 3; 
John A. Hay, Berlin RD 4; Mrs. William Robinson, Cumberland, Md., and Robert Hay 
at home.  Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Howard Hay, Garrett RD; 
Norman Hay, Meyersdale; Robert Hay, Johnstown, and Mrs. Merle Walker of 
Somerset.
  Funeral services were held in Johnson & Son Funeral Home, Saturday at 2:30 
p.m., with the Rev. Ira. R. Harkins officiating.  Interment was made in the 
Berlin cemetery.
