HAY James Wilbur Hay, 72, of Artemas, formerly of Meyersdale, died December 3, 1983 while hunting in Mann Township. He was born April 15, 1911 at Rockwood RD 1, he was a son of the late James W. Hay and Della (Lindaman) Hay. He retired as a B&O conductor in 1964. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Evelyn B. (Shipley) Hay, a son, James G. Hay, Meyersdale RD; a stepson, Rodney Clingerman, Akron, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Donna Heavner, Artemas; two half-brothers, Vincent McCabe, Gaines, Mich. and Glen A. Baumer, Dover, Ohio and four grandchildren. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home. Services were conducted in the Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, with the Rev. Ralph Micheals officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Meyersdale Republic, December 8, 1983 [H0550]
