  JOHN E. HAY
  
  John E. Hay, 92, Somerset RD 2, died Feb. 21, 1983, at Lee Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born April 19, 1890, in Brothersvalley Township, a son of the
  late Wesley and Sarah (Walker) Hay.  Also preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Hattie M. Tipton, four brothers and two sisters.  Survived by
  these children: Mrs. Telford (Bernice) Dixon, Vintondale RD 1, George E.,
  Somerset RD 2, Mrs. Merle (Alice) Stutzman, Levittown, four grandchildren,
  eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and by sister,
  Miss Nell Hay, Somerset.  Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church and
  Jennerstown Local 1742 UMWA.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. George Walton officiating. 
  Interment, Casebeer Cemetery.
