Hay, 85, died Aug. 20, 1971 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Aug 9, 1886 in Berlin, a son of the late Calvin and Ida (Ringler) Hay. He had a dairy farm in Berlin for many years. He attended Berlin Normal School, and was certified to teach in the public schools. Preceded in death by his wife, Anna (Pyle) Hay. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jay Walker of Somerset, and one brother, Albert Hay, Johnstown, and sisters Mrs. Russell Pifer, Somerset, Mrs. Fred Speicher, Leesport, Mrs. George Weimer of Friedens, Lorene Sarber, Friedens.
