LYDIA HAY

  Mrs. Lydia Hay, aged 89 years, wife of Henry Hay, a Civil War veteran, died 
Tuesday morning at the home of her son, R. M. Hay of Brothersvalley Township, 
following an extended illness.  She was born in Somerset County and was a 
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cober.  She is survived by her husband 
and the following children:  Harvey Hay, Sugar Grove, Pa.; R. M. Hay, Summit 
Township; Horace Hay, Takoma Park, Washington, D.C., and Myra Hay, at home.
  Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 9 o'clock at the Hays 
Mills church by the Rev. Mr. Leatherman.  Interment will be in the church 
cemetery.
