Born Dec. 8, 1913, in Meyersdale. Daughter of James Alexander and Mary Ann (Shook) Thomas. Also preceded in death by first husband, Arthur E. Seese, who died in 1945, and second husband, Walker James Hay, who died in 1979; 3 brothers: William, Clarence and Harold Thomas. Survived by these children: Donald E. Seese of Somerset; Ronald J. Seese of Augusta, Ga.; Duane T. Seese of Pittsburgh; Dalton C. Seese of LaPorte, Ind.; Mrs. Delbert (Eileen) Wiggins of Buchanan, Mich.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Meyers of Berlin; 11 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Ellen Bittner of Wyndotte, Mich.; Percy Thomas of Harrison; Mrs. Hazel DuVall-Schaffer of Dravosburg. Member of Suburban Gardens Church of Christ. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. M.D. Herring officiating.
