(Holder) Hay, 91, of Siemon's Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of Jennerstown, died Dec. 2, 2001 at the Estate. Born May 5, 1910 in Jenner Twp., daughter of Elmer J. and Lela (Glessner) Holder. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 67 years, Arnold G. Sr., Nov. 22, 1997; two infant grandchildren; daughter-in-law Mary Rose Hay; sister Bernice Brown; and brother Elsworth. Survived by children Joan, widow of James Avery, West Mifflin, Arnold G. Jr., Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh; James R., married to Janet Lee Trible and Edward A., both of Jennerstown. Also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Originally a member of Jenner Crossroads EUB Church and long-time member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church, where she formerly was in the choir, taught Sunday school, had charge of the kitchen and helped the church sewing group to piece sew and quilt many blankets and coverlets. A 1930 graduate of the former Boswell High School, member of Trinity Chapter 138 Order of Eastern Star, Somerset, and past member of the Jennerstown Community Chorus. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Jennerstown United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ronald J. Geisler officiating. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
