"Junior" Hay, 53, of Berlin RD 3, died June 23, 1989, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. He was born March 12, 1936, in Lincoln Township, the son of Orlo and Esther (Mort) Hay. He was preceded in death by father, a brother and a sister. He is survived by his mother of Somerset; his wife of 29 years, the former Barbara Krause; and these children: David, married to Jodie Haselbarth of Berlin RD 3; Dennis L., married to Sharon Suhrie of Berlin RD 1; and Richard W. and fiancee, Terri Shaulis of Berlin; also, two grandchildren. He was a brother of Rev. William of Friedens RD 1; Mrs. Robert (Mary) Schlag of Monks Corner, S.C.; Mrs. Anthony (Betty) Setinsek, North Lima, Ohio; John of Mt. Pleasant; Robert and Ralph, both of Somerset; Richard of Berlin RD 3; James of Rockwood; and Charles of Berlin. He was employed as a meat cutter at Riverside Market, Berlin. Was an Army veteran and a member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kenneth A. Davis officiating.
