HAY Paul Elbert Hay, 78, of Sun City, AZ, died January 4, 1993 in the Walter O. Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City. Born March 28, 1914 in Brothersvalley Township, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Anna (McLuckie) Hay. He is survived by his wife, Marianne; son, Lynn E. of Orlando, FL; sister, Dorothy Suder of Berlin, and three grandchildren. He was a retired livestock dealer in Brothersvalley Township, having followed his father and grandfather, Hiram P. Hay, in ownership of the family business, as well as "Buffalo Valley Farm". He left Somerset County in the 1960s for Silver Springs, MD, where he was employed in real estate. He later relocated to Tallahassee, FL, where he resided until moving to Sun City, AZ, 18 months before his death. He was a former member and served on the consistory of the Mt. Zion (Hay's) United Church of Christ, Brothersvalley Township. He was a member of Hillcrest Grange for 65 years. He was a former member of the Berlin Brothersvalley School Board, active in civic organizations in the Berlin area, and was currently a member of the Elks Lodge.
