Hay, 73, Somerset RD 7, passed away Oct. 22, 1995, at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown. Born Oct. 16, 1922, in Mill Run, Pa., son of the late Lloyd M. and Goldie (Tissue) Hay. Preceded in death by parents and a niece, Marjorie (Dull) Holloway. Survived by wife of 42 years, the former Helen Miller, and the following children: Mrs. Geary (Diane) Keller, Somerset; Mrs. Tom (Janet) Jury, Somerset RD 7; Jeffrey M. Hay, married to the former Kelly Figard, Hollsopple; Mrs. Jeffrey (Patricia) Tomko, Stoystown; grandchildren: Michael and Matt Keller; Melissa and Jennifer Jury; Scott Hay; Nicole, Vanessa and Ondrea Tomko. Brother of Verla Mae Green, College Park, Md.; Wade G. Hay, Bowie, Md.; Dorothy Dull, Moon Township; W. Dale Hay, Annandale, Va.; Ralph E. Hay, Mill Run; 8 nieces and 6 nephews. Retired heavy construction worker. Former member of 2274 Carpenters Union, Pittsburgh. Self-employed carpenter in the Somerset area. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, Rev. Roger Forry and Rev. Stephen D. Hay officiating. Interment, Weller Cemetery.
