    Russell J. Hay, 72, of Jennerstown died July 20, 1993, at Conemaugh
  hospital.  Born April 25, 1921, in Jenner Township.  Son of C. Lester and
  Erma K. (Speicher) Hay.  Preceded in death by parents and brother, Clarence.
  Survived by his wife, the former Melda Bittleburn, and two daughters, Linda,
  wife of George Stetz of Richland, and Connie, Jennerstown.  Also two
  granddaughters, Michelle and Melanie Stetz.  Brother of Ellen F. Henry,
  Jennerstown; Lois Thiel, Ligonier, and Shirley Ferrari, Jerome.  Member of
  the Jenner Rod and Gun Club; Jerome Post 802, American Legion, and
  Hollsopple Post 8861, VFW. Observed 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 16,
  1992. An Army veteran of World War II.  Visitation from 10 a.m. until 12:30
  p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, followed by
  graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at the Jennerstown Lutheran Cemetery, Rev.
  Edward N. Corneilson officiating.  Memorials to the American Cancer Society
  would be appreciated.
