Hay, 78, of 795 Meadowbrook Lane, Gettysburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996, at his home. He was the husband of Kathryn (Jackson) Hay. Born in Berlin, he was the son of the late Robert and Elanor (Weigley) Hay. Member of the Gettysburg Church of the Brethren and the Adams County Farm Bureau. He was a farmer in Highland Township, Adams County, from 1945-1974 and later employed by Vigortone Agricultural Products as a feed company representative. Surviving also are a son, Robert L. Hay of Gettysburg; two daughters, Barbara A. Davis of Petersburg and Janet L. Neff of Gaithersburg, Md., seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Sadie Hay of Westport, MD., and three brothers, Harry Hay of Somerset, Dorin Hay of Bedford and Gordon Hay of Binghamton, N.Y. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gettysburg Church of the Brethren, 1710 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, with the Revs. Joel F. Nogle and Cyrus Bucher officiating. Burial at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Monaham Funeral Home, Gettysburg, and from 1:30 p.m. until the service Friday at the church.
