  HAYES
  
  Myrtle E. Hayes, 74, of 606 South Franklin Ave., Somerset, formerly of
  Windber, died Feb. 1, 1982, at her residence.  She was born April 14, 1907,
  in Windber, daughter of Elmer and Ella (Thomas) Hayes.  She was preceded in
  death by parents; brother, Earl; sisters, Eva and Laura.  Survived by
  sister, Luella, wife of F.D. Adams, M.D. of Mount Dora, Fla.; also a number
  of nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday
  at Meek Funeral Home, Windber, where a service will be held 2 p.m.
  Thursday, the Rev. Millard Weaver, officiating.  Interment, Grandview
  Cemetery, Johnstown.
