    Robert W. Hayman Sr., 82, Rockwood, passed on Oct. 6, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  Oct. 28, 1924, in Rockwood, the son of the late George and Florence (Baker) Hayman. Also
  preceded in death by his brother, George Hayman, and sister, Thelma Ankeny. Survived by
  his wife of 59 years, Doris (Race) Hayman; children, Kenneth W. Hayman and wife, Mary
  Jane, Brotherton; Larry R. Hayman and wife, Beverly, Glencoe; Terry L. Hayman and wife,
  Rebecca, Rockwood; Robert W. Hayman Jr. and wife, Cindy, Somerset; and Gloria J. Younkin
  and husband, Randy Younkin Jr., Rockwood; grandchildren, Matthew, Lore, Kim, Justin,
  Tyler, Tanner, Jake, Cody and Caroline; 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Neva
  Burkett, Somerset; Mary Alice Weir, Somerset, and Gloria Burkhart, Ferndale. He was a
  veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. Life member of the Rockwood fire department, a
  past county fire warden, a former police officer in Rockwood Borough and an employee of
  DeVilbiss Health Care Inc., where he retired with 36 years of service. He was an avid
  hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
  The Rev. Dale Shunk officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOFCemetery. Memorial
