  The Rev. Jack L. Hays, 47, Jennerstown, died Feb. 15, 2005, in the Latrobe Area
  Hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1957, in Ligonier, a son of H. Kenneth Hays,
  California, and Mae Graver Rhoads, Boswell. He was preceded in death by a
  brother, Allen Hays; maternal grandmother, Esther Graver; and paternal
  grandparents, Carrie Anderson and Charles Hays. He is survived by his wife,
  Leah Leasure Hays; stepmother, Dorie Hays, California; stepfather, Lloyd
  Rhoads, Boswell; two stepsons, Ronald L., and his wife Nicky, and Todd A., and
  his wife Renee Strelko, both of Stoystown; a sister, Carol Majorsky, Latrobe;
  three brothers, Ken Hays, Ligonier, Keith Hays, Tulsa, Okla., and Kevin Hays,
  Latrobe; and two half sisters, Tammy and Carrie Hays, both of California. He
  was pastor of the Good Shepherds Outreach Ministry in Jennerstown and was also
  employed by the Murin Paving and Excavating Co. Friends will be received 2 to 4
  and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 East
  Main St., Ligonier, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. His
  brother-in-law, the Rev. Cletus Leasure officiating. Interment will follow in
  the Oddfellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
