  CHARLES E. HECHLER
  
    Charles E. Hechler, 78, Markleton RD 1, died Jan,. 6, 1979 in the Fazio
  Nursing Home, Markleysburg.  Born Jan. 5, 1901 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., he
  was a son of the late Wallace and Amanda Younkin.  He was preceded in death
  by his wife, Mae McGuire.
    He is survived by the following children: Merle, Jeffersonville, Ind.;
  Ray, Rockwood RD; Oscar, Hazleton, W. Va.; Mrs., Thelma Silbaugh,
  Pittsburgh; Mrs. Pearl Fike, Markleysburg and Robert, Dunnellon, Fla.; 13
  grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Sadie Sterner,
  Rockwood and Mrs. Maude Snyder, Johnstown; also one brother, Ross, Fort
  Hill.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  funeral services were held with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. 
  Interment, Kingwood.  IOOF Cemetery.
