  HECHLER
  
  Mae Harriet Hechler, 72, of Markleton RD 1, died Jan. 8, 1978, in the Fazio
  Nursing Home.  Born Dec. 6, 1905, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter
  of the late Calvin and Eliza (Baer) Markleton.  Survived by her husband,
  Charles, and these children: Merle of Jeffersonville, Ind., Ray of
  Rockwood; Oscar of Hazleton, W. Va.; Mrs. Thelma Silbaugh of Pittsburgh;
  Mrs. Pearl Fike of Markleysburg; and Robert of Dunnellon, Fla.; 13
  grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Pearl
  Saylor of Rockwood; Mrs. Lucille Shaulis of Somerset; and Mrs. Zelia
  Gindlesberger of Hollsopple; and a brother, Edmund McGuire of Somerset. 
  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday in the Humbert Funeral Home in
  Confluence where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the
  Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment, Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
