Hechler, 61, Rockwood RD 2, died July 1, 1990, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born June 22, 1929, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, son of Charles and Mae (McGuire) Hechler. Survived by wife, Treecy (Pletcher) Hechler. Rockwood RD 2; two sons, Clifton, Somerset RD 1, and Amos, Rockwood RD 2; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jeanette) Warick, Rockwood; Mrs. Paul (Loretta) Tannehill, Somerset RD 1 and Miss Tracey Hechler, Rockwood RD 2; also three brothers, Merle, Oscar and Robert; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Silbaugh, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Pearl Fike Markleysburg; also six grandchildren. Death terminates a marriage union of 37 years. Preceded in death by parents and infant daughter. Member of Kingwood Rebecca Lodge, also Kingwood I.0.0.F. Lodge. A member of Church of the Brethren, Middlecreek Township. Employed by Guy Sechler Bus Company as a school bus driver. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in William J. Wood Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev William Hay officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Rockwood RD 3.
