Hechler, 62, of Rockwood RD 2, died April 3, 1996, at her residence. She was born July 2, 1933 in Scullton, daughter of the late Amos and Elsie (Gary) Pletcher. Preceded in death by her husband Ray Hechler; an infant daughter and a brother. Sadly missed by the following children: Clifford Hechler, married to the former Colleen Ogline; Amos Hechler, married to the former Theresa Wilber, and Mrs. Paul (Loretta) Tannehill, all of Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Donald (Jeannette) Warwick of Rockwood, and Miss Tracy Hechler of Rockwood RD2. Also a good friend and companion, Richard Sanner of Rockwood RD2. Seven loving grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Brothers: Roy, Blaine and Clyde Pletcher, all of Rockwood RD3, and Paul Pletcher of Indian Head; sister, Mrs. Edward (Shirley) King of Rockwood RD3. She was a member of the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren and the Kingwood Rebekah Lodge. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (today) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Jay Christner officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Rockwood RD 3.
