Somerset Leader December 20, 1920

JOHN HECHLER, a well known farmer of Middlecreek twp., died at his home on 
Sunday as a result of a fall in his barn. He was aged about 65 years. John 
Hechler was a son of Jacob Hechler. He married Elizabeth Hauger, a daughter 
of Samuel Weimer of Murdock, who survives him with two children, Mrs. Lloyd 
Cramer of Rockwood and Mrs. Charles Berkey of Milford twp. Mr. Hechler was 
the last of a family of 12 children. Interment was made in the Union 
Cemetery at New Centerville.
