  HEGADUS
  
    Mrs. Caroline "Lena" Hegadus, 91, Railroad Street, Windber, formerly of
  Cambria City, died Dec. 8, 2003, at home.  Born May 28, 1912, in Windber,
  daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Tarr) Laslo. She is preceded in
  death by husband Lewis; brothers: John, Julius, Charles, Paul, Alex, Steve,
  Frank and Joseph Laslo and sister Anna Shelko.  Survived by these children:
  Caroline B., wife of Donald Lohr, Hooversville, Lewis C., married to the
  former Barbara Bajic, Shanksville, Joseph P. married to the former Patricia
  Burkett, Tidioute, Dorothy J., wife of John Hudy, Brooklyn, Ohio, Anna E.,
  wife of Joseph Polacek, Johnstown and Theodore R., married to the former
  Linda Pollack, Windber.  Also 15 grandchildren and 19
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Helen Revesz and Elmer Laslo, both of
  Johnstown.  Former member of United Church of Christ (Hungarian Reform,
  Cambria City) and member of First Lutheran Church, Windber and William Penn
  Assoc.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek Funeral Home, Inc., Windber, where service will
  be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Eleanor Abarno officiating.  Interment
  Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First
  Lutheran Church, 1001 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, in memory of
  Caroline "Lena" Hegadus.
