   Patricia M. (Burkett) Hegadus, 68, Tidioute, formerly of Ralphton, died Oct. 9, 2008,
  at her home. Born Jan. 1, 1940, in Johnstown, daughter of James E. Sr. and Margaret M.
  (Ondrejcak) Burkett. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, James E. Burkett Jr. 
  Survived by husband of 50 years, Joseph Hegadus Sr.; children, Christina Hegadus,
  Somerset Pike, Boswell; Joseph Jr., married to the former Janet Blucas, Ralphton; Susan,
  married to Joseph Yoder, Boswell; Paulette, married to Brian Borosky, Boswell; Pamela
  Hegadus and fiancˇe, Dwaine Yeckley, Westmont; and Angela, married to Robert Sloan,
  Boswell; grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Michael, Valerie, Aaron, Paul, Brett, Sean,
  Abby and Sarah; great-granddaughter, Olivia Rose; sisters, Betty, married to Raymond
  Kist, Johnstown; and Donna, married to John Fitzgerald, Irvine; brother, Richard
  Burkett, Tidioute; son-in-law, Bill Bowman, Jenner Crossroads; and numerous nieces and
  nephews. A 1957 graduate of Johnstown High School. Personal caregiver in home health
  care. Member of former St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta. She enjoyed gardening,
  fishing and watching animals in her backyard. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday
  at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell, where vigil
  for the deceased will be held 3 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at All
  Saints Chapel, Acosta. The Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM Conv. celebrant.
