All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ CHARLOTTE DENDRIA HEINING Mrs. Charlotte Dendria Heining, aged 53 years, 11 months and 7 days, wife of John Heining, died of apoplexy on Wednesday morning, April 23, at 9:15 o'clock at her home in Summit Township. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bittner. She leaves her husband and eight children. One son, Charles, died in 1919. The following children are living: Mrs. George Gray, August, William and John Heining, Jr., all of Garrett; Nelson Heining, of Parnassus; Amanda, Nora and Clyde, at home. She also leaves three grandchildren - Nora and Margaret Gray and Mary Edna Haer. She is survived also by three brothers - William Bittner of Lewistown; John Bittner, of Connellsville, and Harvey Bittner, of Akron, Ohio - and two sisters - Mrs. Mary C. Thompson and Mrs. Thomas Miller, both of Jenners. Mrs. Heining was laid to rest in the Center Lutheran Cemetery at 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 25. Rev. S. F. Tholan, pastor of the Center Lutheran Church had charge of the funeral service. The burial was in charge of Undertakers Mills & Mickey of Rockwood. Meyersdale Republican, May 1, 1930
