Her husband, Augustus Heining, died June 18, 1918. Mrs. Heining was born April 25, 1855. At the age of 18 she married Augustus Heining on Nov. 10, 1872. To this union were born five children, as follows: John, Anna, Emma Ida, Charles Milton and David. Two children, Emma and David, preceded the mother to the grave. Mrs. Heining resided in Summit Township practically all of her life. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren, and attended church services regularly whenever she was able. Funeral services were conducted at Center Church with Rev. William B. Gauntz officiating, assisted by Rev. Stahl. Interment was in charge of Undertakers Mills & Mickey, of Rockwood. Meyersdale Republican, November 21, 1940 *In another article in the same paper, the following additional information was provided: "The following children survive: Mrs. Harvey Hostetler and Charles Heining of the Center Church Community, and John Heining of Milford. One sister, Lucy Sanner of Kregar, also survives."
