(Baker) Barndt Heining, 90, of Somerset died Sept. 24, 2003, at Somerset Hospital. Born July 3, 1913, in Somerset Township, she is the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Wauger) Baker. Also preceded in death by first husband John Barndt, second husband August Heining, children, Robert, Elizabeth Mae, James and June Laverne Barndt. Grandson, Robert Barndt Jr., brothers, Oran and Leroy Baker, and sister, Anna Grace Miller. Survived by children, Mrs. William (Mary Jane) Bell, Mrs. Paul E. (Dorothy) Weyand and Mrs. Paul E. (Carrie) Eicher, all of Somerset, and step-son, August Heining of Latrobe, married to the former Alzene Long. Also 14 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Naomi Hetrick of Friedens, Mary Catherine Gilbert of Gray, Goldie Shaulis of Fairmont, W.Va., Ray Baker and Betty Livengood, both of Somerset. Also special friend James Knox. Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Dennis Doebler and Roy Worsham officiating. Interment in Casebeer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
