Heiple, 70, Glades Pike, Somerset, died March 16, 2004, at home. Born May 19, 1933, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Roscoe H. and Ada M. (Miller) Snyder. Preceded in death by parents, husband James M., brothers Herbert, Vernon, Hillis, Edgar, Willard, Delbert, and Roscoe Snyder, and sisters Ida Snyder and Ruth Hetrick. Survived by children Irma M. married to Blair E. Walker, Joan M. married to Clarence J. Walker Jr., and James M. married to the former Deborah Konieczny all of Somerset, Jesse M. married to the former Tina L. Custer, Friedens, Jeanne M. married to Dale A. Custer, Stoystown, and Jackie M. married to Joseph W. Melnick, Newport News, Va.; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a brother Ernest R. Snyder, Las Vegas. She is a 1951 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. Member of Faith Lutheran Church where she was formerly involved in Sunday school, Bible school, Altar Guild, and WELCA. Member of Somerset American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Post 554 Home Association, Listie Fire Company Auxiliary, and Somerset FOE Auxiliary. Past officer in the Women's Democratic Club, past Democratic Committee Woman, and Election Board officer. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset. Rev.
