    Mary L. Heist, 67, Somerset RD 8, died April 21, 1993, at
  Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Aug. 8, 1925, in
  Listie, daughter of the late John and Tonina (Soriva) DePhillips.  Preceded
  in death by parents, one brother John D., and an infant sister, Mary Justina
  Marie.  Survived by her husband, John J. Heist; son, John J. II, and
  daughter-in-law Nancy, Somerset RD 2; and daughter, Connie, wife of Kenneth
  Fisher, Daytona Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren: Erika, Heather and Jimmy
  Summers, and these brothers and sisters; Floyd, Sunny Acres Trailer Court;
  Joe Philips, Friedens RD 1; Mrs. Emma Gasperine, Listie; Mrs. Lucy Foust,
  Lincoln Park, Mich.; and Mrs. Alice Shaffer, Somerset RD 7.  Member of St.
  Peter's Roman Catholic Church.  Her death terminated a marriage union of 45
  years.  Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) in
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service will be conducted
  at 8:45 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's
  Church, with Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
