MILDRED HELSEL

Of Windber RD 1, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1970, in Windber Hospital. 
She was born in Ogletown July 5, 1913, a daughter of John C. and 
Rachael (Myers) Fleegle, and married Nelson L. Helsel. Surviving are 
her husband, five children, Mrs. Geraldine Akins of Johnstown RD 3, 
Mrs. Elsie Logue of Johnstown, Mrs. Charlotte Szadvari of Windber, 
Lawrence of Lansdale and Mrs. Peggy Mervine of Arlington, Va.; nine 
grandchildren, her father and five brothers and sisters, Ira of Windber 
RD 1, Calvin of Alum Bank, Mrs. Louella Blair of Darragh, Mrs. Miriam 
Rogers of Windber and Mrs. Pauline Rogers of Nanty Glo. Mrs. Helsel was 
a member of the Ogletown Church of the Brethren. Friends will be 
received in the Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasantville, from 2 to 4 and 
7 to 9 p.m. today.
