Helvey, 84, Somerset, died Feb. 10, 2007, at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born May 7, 1922, in Somerset, the daughter of the late Arthur and Edith (Griffith) Stark. Also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Stark. Survived by her husband, Wade Helvey, to whom she was married 65 years; sister, Eleanor Sprock and husband, Albert, Somerset; nieces and nephews, Judy and Jesse Klink, Rockwood, Dennis and Tammy Sprock, Connellsville, Craig and Cris Sprock, Somerset; seven great-nieces and nephews and eight great-great-nieces and nephews. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, American Legion Auxiliary and Fifty-five and Over Speeders. Betty and Wade lived on West Union Street in Somerset for 60 years, before moving to the Heritage, and always enjoyed the neighbors. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, the time of service, in the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev.
