  HEMMINGER
  
  Annie A. Hemminger, 89, formerly of Friedens RD 2, died June 5, 1988 at the
  Church of the Brethren home in Scalp Level.  Born Nov. 29, 1898 in Jenner
  Twp., a daughter of John and Laura (Gashaw) Speigle.  Preceded in death by
  parents, husband, Samuel J., who died July 2, 1976; an infant son; a
  sister, Kathryn Blough, and a brother, Earl.  Survived by these children:
  Richard, married to the former Margaret Shaffer, and Reita, wife of Donald
  Yoder, both of Boswell RD 1; Hazel, wife of James Fluke, Ebensburg; and
  James, married to the former Hester Shockey, Glen Rock; also nine
  grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  A sister of Ruth, the wife of
  John A. Lehman, of Boswell RD 1.  A member of Friedens Lutheran Church. 
  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Wednesday, with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
