  Esther June Hemminger, 64, Hollsopple, RD2, died Oct. 9, 1988 at Lee
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born June 1, 1924 in Conemaugh Township, Somerset
  County.  Daughter of Tobias J. and Jennie M. (Thomas) Lehman.  Preceded in
  death by parents.  Survived by husband, Vernon D. and these children:
  Allen, at home; and Jenny, wife of Scot L. Cruickshank, Johnstown; four
  grandchildren: Lisa, Scott and Heather Hemminger and Kaitin Cruickshank. 
  Sister of: Kathryn; Mary Mintmier; Lester, married to the former Ruth
  Smith; Florence, widow of Lester Williams; Dorothy, wife of Harry Koontz;
  Robert, married to the former Evelyn Griffith and Anna Mae, wife of
  Clifford Yoder, all of Hollsopple RD 2; and Bernice, wife of James Spory,
  Boswell, RD1.  Member of Benscreek Lutheran Church, L.C.W. and Christina
  Marie Circle.  Observed 44th wedding anniversary Sept. 11, 1988.  Friends
  received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell.  Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Benscreek Church, where viewing will
  also be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, Pastors Pat and Chris
  Ramsey officiating.  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.
