  HEMMINGER
  
    Jessamine M. Hemminger, 85, of Fair Lawn, N.J., died Jan. 27, 1993,
  in Hackensack Hospital, Hackensack, N.J.  Born Oct. 15, 1907, in
  Newport, R.I.  Preceded in death by husband, Ralph W. Hemminger, in
  1968.  Survived by son, Girard L. Hemminger, Newton Square, Pa., and
  two grandchildren-Kimberly L. Hemminger and Girard W. Hemminger. 
  Received BA from Boston University in 1929 and MA from Columbia
  University in 1944.  Was schoolteacher for many years.  Member of
  Church in Radburn of Fair Lawn, N.J.  Member of League of Women
  Voters, the College Club, and Radburn Seniors, all of Fair Lawn,
  N.J.  Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 1993,
  at Vander Plaat Colonial Funeral Home, Fair Lawn, N.J.  Graveside
  service and interment at Husband Cemetery will be held at 2 p.m.
  Monday, Feb. 1, 1993, with the Rev. Dwight A. Huseman officiating. 
  Family suggests contributions to Somerset Hospital, 225 S. Center
  Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.  Local arrangements by Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home.
