  Richard Hemminger
  
  Richard Hemminger, 85, Rolling Hill Road, Jenner Township, died July 4,
  2004, at the Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born May 26, 1919, in
  Jenner Township, son of Samuel J. and Annie (Speigle) Hemminger.  Preceded
  in death by parents and an infant brother.  Survived by wife of 63 years,
  the former Margaret R. Shaffer; daughter, Mary Ann, Jenner Township;
  sisters, Hazel, married to James Fluke, Huntingdon, and Reita, married to
  Donald Yoder, Jenner Township, and brother, James, married to Hester
  Shockey, Glen Rock.  Also survived by numerous other relatives.  Member of
  Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown.  Had been a long
  time member of the former St. James Lutheran Church, Jenner Township.
  Retired Jenner Township farmer and past district manager for the former
  Hoffman Farm Seeds Incorporated, Lancaster County.  Friends received from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Jacquelyn S.
  Ahern officiating.  Interment, St. James Cemetery.
