Henicksman, 86, of Cumberland, Md., formerly of Meyersdale died July 19, 1993, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Born March 26, 1907, in Meyersdale, the son of the late John and Catherine (Plut) Henicksman. Preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Joseph, and Edward, and a sister, Regina R. Trevorrow, and brother-in-law, Crozier R. Trevorrow of Cumberland, Md. Veteran of U.S. Army WWII. Was awarded the bronze star for service in the European Theater of Operation. A member of H Company, 143rd Infantry, 36th Division. A member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Cumberland, Md. Member of American Legion Post 112, Meyersdale. Retired electrician of the Celanese Corp. of America, Cumberland. Graduate of Bliss Electrical School, Takoma Park, Md. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Philip & James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with Rev. James F. Bunn officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
