Henigan Jr., 58, of Springfield, Va., died Saturday, Dec. 8, 1973, in Fairfax Hospital after suffering a heart attack. He was born in Los Angeles in 1915. He was chairman of the speech and drama department at George Washington University, and held a BA degree from Kearney State College and a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin. A veteran of World War II, he had served in the ETO as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Air Corps Reserves and held a bronze star. Surviving are his wife, the former Palma Lucente; a son, Dennis, at home; and a daughter, Kathleen Habeger, Dahlgren, Va.; a brother, Robert of Springfield, Mo.; and a sister, Helen Montague of Scottsdale, Mont.
