Henigan, 87, of Berlin, Md., died suddenly after a short illness Nov. 22, 2001, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. Born in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Santo and Bertha Fiorentino Lucente. Her husband, George F. Henigan Jr., preceded her in death. Mrs. Henigan graduated from Indiana State Teachers College in Indiana, Pa., and was a teacher in Oakland, Md., schools, Annapolis, Md., High School and the Fairfax County school system. She was a long-time resident of Springfield, Va. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Steve Habeger of Pocomoke City, Md., and a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Tara Henigan of Falls Church, Va.; a sister, Mary Miller of New York, N.Y.; a brother, Frank Lucente of Meyersdale; three grandchildren: Scott Habeger and wife Amy and Kelly Habeger, all of Salisbury, Md.; Matthew Henigan of Falls Church; and several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial was held Nov. 26 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Pocomoke City. Father Raymond Weisman and Deacon John Costello will officiate.
