He was born in Lexington, Pa., on June 9, 1920, the son of Edward and Iva (Cone) Henry. He was united in marriage on March 16, 1940 to Betty M. Patton. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty; his children, Norma and Bob Montgomery, Manistee; Jess and Wendy Henry, Manistee; and Clifford and Elizabeth Henry, Hilton Head, S.C.; grandchildren, Robert and Richard Montgomery, and Michelle, Ashley, Chandler, Victoria, Jared and Austin Henry; sister, Wilma Wright, Addison, Pa.; brother, E.J. Henry, New Lexington, Pa.; and 2 special people in his life, Ed and Meg Barlan. Owned and operated Woodland Acres Cottages since 1968, where he has been able to pursue his woodworking hobby. He had owned Dayton Television in Lincoln Park. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Onekama; Lincoln Park Lodge #539, F.& A.M.; and the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory of Scottish Rite, Valley of Detroit. He was an avid hunter. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the First Congregational Church, Onekama, with the Rev. John Peterson officiating. Memorials may be made to the church.
