Born Dec. 3, 1912, in Somerset, son of Robert James and Jennie Katura (Young) Hoffman. Preceded in death by mother and sister, Hazel. Survived by father; widow, former Sara Jane Hostetler; daughter, Suzanne, wife of George Walko, Johnstown; and sons, Lynn, Johnstown, and William, Monroeville; also seven grandchildren. Member of First Lutheran Church of Johnstown. General foreman of Rod and Wire Division, Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Member of Bethlehem Management Club, Association of Iron and Steel Engineers, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Johnstown Oldtimers Baseball Association. Friends were received at the John Henderson Co.
